Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is well-known for her roles as a lead actress in numerous television shows, however, she also has impressive roles in film. She is popular on both Canadian as well as American TV. Emily first became interested when she watched her sibling Katie doing a movie. Once she discovered her passion in acting she enrolled herself in classes for it and started auditioning. The first commercials she auditioned for were and was soon selected as a child actress in the Canadian television horror show Are You Fearful of the Darkness? In the show, she appeared in a single scene with any dialogue. Her first break came at 15 years old after she was spotted on the series of the WB called Glory Days as a regular. Emily's performance in the WB show Glory Days which ended up being cancelled nine episodes later, caught the attention and interest of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily has also been a dancer, a photographer and was named as one of the top 20 teens' actors. In Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed her at top 51.
