Zazie Olivia Beetz was born Berlin in 1991. In 2010, the actress and dancer got her first break-out role when she was cast in the role of Rocky Blue in the show "Shake It Up" along with her co-star Bella Thorne. Zendaya went vegetarian at the age of 11 after she passed a slaughterhouse on an excursion with her dad. PEOPLE reported that she said: "It seemed awful to me, seeing all of the animals crammed into the slaughterhouse, waiting for their final deaths. It was shocking to me that I used this method to get meat. She's been eating predominantly vegetarian diet ever since.
