While I had one baby with me, and other babies within the cradle worked 12 hours a day cleaning floors and tear off wallpaper. Ha! It was all starting to take shape, however it wasn't quite finished. It would take a lot of money effort as well as my favourite brands of furniture furnishings for this house. Although I was happy about the direction my company went, I was feeling like I needed to take a little break. I took a pause from creating vintage furniture and also slowed my pace to be at home to raise the children. It was exactly what I needed at that time. However after a few months without a phone, it began to ring. I began receiving calls from people asking me for assistance with home improvements and interior design. They had mainly visited my house at the open houses that were held for furniture. While I was working I began adding customers to my client list one by one. But it wasn't that long before I was managing multiple clients and ran a profitable home improvement business. If you had said to me that this company of mine could become the premise of a tv show for the DIY Network I probably would have been astonished. It's funny to think back on the idea.
