Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson (born Kristen Noel Swanson) is an American actor who became famous in the role of Buffy Summers. Her other roles include: Rebecca Becky Granger, in the telefilm Nightingales & the short lived NBC show with similar name, Erica Paget as Early Edition on CBS and Marlowe Viccellio as Psych. She was born in California and began her interest in acting when she was an early child. Her acting career began with a number of commercials. She first appeared on the screen in 1984 for an NBCs It's Your Move episode. The following year, in the love story Pretty in Pink, Swan made her debut on the bigscreen. Famous for her blonde hair and breathless voiceSwan has shifted to portraying secondary characters in the past few time. Flowers in the Attic won her the Young Artist Award in the category of the best Young Actress in Horror or Mystery Motion Picture in 1989.
