Jenna Fischer has become best known as Pam Beesly, the character she portrayed on The Office. For her part, Jenna was honored with two SAG Awards in Outstanding Ensemble Comedy and an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Jenna was raised within Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna saw her mother, Anne, perform in the church when she was young and was able to instill a love of performing and theater.
Fischer is an actress with the theater background. She was a part of the Off-Broadway production Reasons to Be Happy which was written and directed by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, as well as Fred Weller. Then, she starred in Steve Martin's new play Meteor Shower. It was an absurd comedy piece starring Greg Germann, Josh Stamberg and ran for record-breaking time at Old Globe Theatre.
The Office's Angela Kinsey (the co-star of Fischer) as well as her best friend in real life Angela Kinsey of The Office, started a podcast back in October. The show was called Office Ladies. The show has since become extremely popular and has landed in the Top Ten every single week. Its first year, it received more than 200,000,000 downloads. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year Award in January 2021.
The Actor's Life The Actor's Life is her debut book that chronicles the road she took to get from St. Louis, Missouri to Hollywood, where she became an actor professionally. The second book, Office BFF's (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) is an autobiography of her most beloved friend as well as their time in The Office.
